Bit of Beatrix Potter

A while ago I shared some beatrix potter cards but didn't get a chance to show this one... So in a bid to catch up I thought I would show it now ... And it gives me a chance to enter the challenge at Top Tip Tuesday this week which is a focus on ribbon.

Sometimes I want to add a particular ribbon but there isn't enough to tie a proper bow, or in this case the ribbon is a bit wide to neatly tie up. So a fake bow is the answer!

So this card is a layer up of the paper that I bought with the decoupage kit, a punched shape and then the topper layered up. I then created the fake bow and added the beautiful dragonfly embellishment. Then I added the diecut sentiment from craftwork cards.

Thanks for popping by to see the card I made ... And now it's time for me to quit crafting and to get myself to bed!

- Posted using BlogPress from my iPad which means I probably haven't proof read the above and there is likely to be rubbish included that I probably should have thought about more! So please accept this post as it is and sorry that I didn't take more care!

  1. That's a beautiful bow on a very pretty card! I love BP's images and they always make me smile when I see them on a card. :) Excellent idea to place an embellishment on the center of a ribbon too. The dragonfly is wonderful!

Thank you so much for playing along with us at Top Tip Tuesday!
Remember you can enter up to 3 projects and 3 tips.
    Have a great one!
